![]() In the so-called age of “Big Data”, the traditional roles that relegated programming to programmers, analysis to statisticians, and finding and archiving to librarians is breaking down, as the need for interdisciplinary professionals who can understand and manage all of these related processes grows. ![]() One aspect of a data librarian’s mission is to help make datasets more accessible to users, which is not always a simple matter of teaching users how or where to search for them it can also involve processing and cleaning datasets to make them readily usable.
